Alyse enjoyed the meal. It was chicken cutlets and eggplant parmesan, per Alyse's Papa's request. She wasn't too sure about the eggplant, but she enjoyed her chicken.
Alyse and Papa had a nice little conversation as Alyse was finishing up. By the end of their stay, Alyse had warmed up to Mom and Papa.
In the above pictures, Alyse is wearing a bib given to her by Mom. It says, "That's It! I'm going to Nonna's!" So cute!
We took a four generations picture again, since the last time we took it, Alyse was only a month and a half old. So here is our nice little updated picture. :)
So here are some photos of the opening of presents on Father's Day.
Alyse's Papa reading his cards.
Alyse's Daddy reading his card. Nice expression!
Papa opening some cards.
Ben reading another card.
Papa looking at his card from us. All three dads received cards made with photos of their children and grandchildren and/or great grandchildren. It was intended as a keepsake for each of them. They enjoyed looking at each other's cards and the photos that were put there.
The pictures below are from another day during Mom and Papa's stay, but since there aren't that many, I just included them here.
Like I said, by the end of their stay, Alyse finally warmed up. Here she was sitting with Papa. That smile on her face in the second photo is when he gave her some chips. She had never had them before, and boy, did she enjoy them!
Alyse and Mom looking at the calendar on the fridge. Alyse just loves to be told what everything is, and is always pointing at things to learn what they are. She really enjoyed Mom and Papa's stay, and we were all sad to see them go home to Florida. Hopefully we can visit them next year in Florida. Then everyone there can see how big she has gotten. :)
